Sims 4 Build Challenges – Introduction

I thought it would be difficult to find things to do during Ohio’s stay at home orders through the early spring, but with the kiddo home and work in full swing it was pretty easy to keep busy during the day. Though I was starting to feel a serious lack of people interaction pretty quickly. Which shocked me considering I’d call myself an introvert.

Then came a Twitter friend to the rescue! Not only did we have board games in common, we also had small children, and a love of Sims 4 in common. This came in handy as we both preferred building in Sims 4 vs character creation or actual game play. Over the last 3 months we’ve been giving each other build challenges which has had us messaging back and forth, staying busy in the game, and occasionally getting on audio calls together. It’s honestly been a delight.

I bring all this up because I’m starting a serious of posts that will be the builds I completed for these challenges. I’m excited to share these and hope they can provide inspiration for anyone that needs it.

I feel very fortunate to have been able to MAKE a friend during a time when we’re told to keep distant during in person interactions. The fact that she lives two states away doesn’t feel like it means much, and I’m very much looking forward to the day we can ACTUALLY meet in person.

I’m calling this the introduction as it’s how these builds came to be. Here are some sneak peaks into some of the builds I completed. Look forward to many, many more pictures as I work through all the challenges we completed.
